Sometimes it isn't easy to show up for things we book. So, if you would like to book this workshop but later decide not to take part, whatever the reason, may I please ask you to let me know ASAP? You are probably not aware, as I wasn't before I started hosting free workshops online, that the percentage of no-shows can be as high as 100% of all booked in to attend. This means, that if I'm not aware that you no longer want to take part, I'd have allocated my time to planning, setting up and running the workshop, only to have no one to run it for.

Join me for this free online workshop where I'll help you find out.
After attending this practical session, you will:
- understand what yoga is and what to expect from it
- learn how regular gentle practice can support you
- know different postures and movements and their benefits
- plan how you could incorporate yoga into your life
What to expect and prepare
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn about and try different gentle yoga postures and movements as well as breathing techniques. If you think you'd like to join in, please make sure you have a space on the floor with a yoga mat or a blanket, alternatively, you could practice in your bed. I recommend having a blanket and a couple of cushions or bed pillows available to use during the session.
About me
My name is Monika Gago-Patel and I'm passionate about women's wellbeing and resilience. I'm a yoga and meditation teacher and crystal singing bowl sound bath practitioner. I also work as a consultant in the business resilience sector. I'm a mum to two teenagers and a dog. My journey with yoga started a few years ago when I was looking for tools to help me manage the stress of everyday personal and professional life, which often manifests for me as low mood, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain in my shoulder. I've recently turned 45 and started to experience peri-menopause symptoms. I use yoga tools to help me journey through my hormonal change and the ageing process, empowering myself to make it a positive experience.
