Description
Explore ways to enjoy your gardens all year round. Gardening can provide food for the body, mind, and spirit. It can also provide a time for family bonding or chaos, stress, and unmet expectations! During our time together, we’ll talk about ways to find the Zen in gardening for the whole family. This session will overview ways that everyone, of any age, who has a passion for it, can be a gardener. Expect to get a bit of dirt under your fingernails!

Instructor: Laurel Kieffer
Gardening has always been part of Laurel’s life starting as a very young child working in her grandfather’s garden. She has practiced intensive companion planting including apartment patio gardening, traditional garden plots, raised beds, terraces, and greenhouse gardens. Her pantries and freezers are filled with canned, frozen, dried and fermented foods.
REGISTRATION: Required for all classes. Payment is due at the time of registration.

CANCELLATION: Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable within 48 hours of the class start.
PARKING: We would love for you to park in the south side of the parking lot surrounding the shed.

All classes are held in Menomonie Market’s upstairs classroom. Stairs and elevator can be found at the back of the store within the meat department. Any food purchased at Menomonie Market can be brought to the classroom to enjoy during this class.
