Ticket receipts will be sent via email from Universe.com and must match the school's ticket roster in terms of ticket number and name of ticket holder. Dance tickets are nontransferable. Any discrepancies will lead to the individuals associated with this issue not being admitted to the dance.
All NCVA students and their dates must enter the dance at the same time and be signed in by a parent/guardian with ID. (This person can sign the students out at the end of the dance or indicate in writing at the time of drop off who will be picking up their students after the dance.) IDs will be required to sign students in and out. Individuals who are not enrolled at NCVA will not be admitted to the dance alone. If the NCVA student and his/her parent/guardian are not present at the check-in table at the time of the arrival of their date, the date may be required to leave the dance and premises.
Age Requirements:
All NCVA 7th and 8th grade students are permitted to attend the dance.
High School Freshman may attend the dance as a guest. For NCVA students bringing a guest: the guest does not have to be a currently enrolled NCVA student. Guests that do not attend NCVA must be between the ages of 11-14.
Identification:
Parent/guardians signing their students into and out of the prom must show government issued ID (Driver’s License). Parent/Guardian will be required to present ID at drop off and pick up. There will be no exceptions whatsoever, even if school personnel at the event recognize parents and/or students and their guest. All guests must have submitted the registration forms prior to the March 15th deadline.
No Re-Entry:
Students must be signed out of the dance by their parent/guardian. Once the student is signed out, there will be no re-entry to the dance. Once you and/or your guest are signed into the facility and your ticket(s) to the event is/are marked claimed, you and/or your guest are prohibited from leaving and reentering the facility. The doors to the dance will be closed at 2:30 PM. Any student or guests arriving after 2:30 PM will not be granted admittance.
Code of Conduct:
The dance is an NCVA event; therefore, all NCVA policies, procedures, and regulations apply. No student shall possess, use, distribute, sell, or be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, including any unauthorized prescription drug, tobacco, and/or any other controlled substance before, during, or after the dance. Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to monitor and supervise all activities before and after the dance.
