Description
This jewelry making workshop teaches participants the basics of making their own jewelry. Participants will leave having learnt to make simple and wrapped loops, as well as knowing how to stretch, string, size, and finish bracelets. All you need to bring is your creativity!
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Laurie Poirier is a Toronto artisan who has been crafting in various forms since childhood. As an adult, she began teaching paper crafting, and soon found her passion for teaching jewelry making to people of all ages. Her classes range from Jewelry 101 to more advance Chainmaille and Wire Working. Laurie has been selling at craft shows for the past eight years, and teaching for the past six years at Michael’s, John Bead Outlet, Gem Expo, Craftandian, and her own private home studio.
