This talk will be based on tangible tips on nurturing homegrown talent within the UK. The talk will shed light on the emerging opportunities that young people have to connect to the tech sector and show some examples of how UK black tech has helped the industry connect to homegrown talent.
Phil Benson is a serial entrepreneur. Cutting his teeth within the food and drink industry Philhas diversified has business interests in Education and retail. Based within C4DI in Hull, Phil has a keen interest in Tech and is a founding member of UKBlackTech supporting diversity within the technology sector.
Mark Martin MBE aka @Urban_Teacher is recognised around the world for his insight and passion for education and technology. Mark is actively involved in the UK tech sector, supporting tech companies and promoting cultural diversity within organisations. He is also a founding member of UKBlackTech.
Ola Otaiku is a software developer at Sky UK, who builds and maintains flagship products including NOW TV, used by millions of customers across Europe. He is also a founding member of both UKBlackTech and Xuntos, working to change the face of the UK tech sector, making it the most diverse in the world.
