Sweater Puppies (featuring Archer's Amber Nash)
Sweater Puppies are an all-star, all-female team from Atlanta, Georgia. Karen Cassady, Megan Leahy, Whittney Millsap and Amber Nash have worked together for years and finally combined their talents to create new experiences with old clothes. The Sweater Puppies ask audiences to bring in pieces of clothing that are no longer needed, which are used as inspiration for short and long-form shows. After the show, all of the clothing is donated to a deserving charity. A fun show plus a good deed gives everyone a case of the warm and fuzzies!
Amber has been acting and improvising in Atlanta for 16 years. She is a part of the Improv Ensemble at Dad’s Garage Theatre; fulfilling roles as a performer, teacher, creator and director. Amber trained at IO in Chicago and worked with The Second City at the Alliance Theatre in 2009 and in 2010 about Norwegian Cruise Lines. Amber is also a voice actor having provided voices for the Adult Swim shows Frisky Dingo and guesting on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Most of her time today is devoted to providing the voice of Pam Poovey on FX’s hit show Archer. She is married to Kevin Gillese and the two have happily added Carol J. Puppydog to the family.
