Hi, my name is Becci I've been practising meditation for over 10 years. This weekend I am offering you the opportunity learn this valuable life skill with me.

In these two back to back one-day workshops, both suitable for complete beginners, you will have the chance to learn how to be Calm, no matter what is going on in your life.

Mind Calm Meditation - Sat 23rd March, 10am - 4pm
Mind Calm works by helping you to change your relationship with your mind by being 'consciously aware' during daily life. Issues like Anxiety and Depression are often caused by overthinking and being lost in the past or present. In Mind Calm we learn to see the mind, not be the mind.
In this one day course you will:
Discover what is important to you
Learn how to let go of thinking in seconds
Develop the ability to choose where you put your attention
Understand the nature of the mind
Be taught how to put the mind down when you don't need it
Master a simple and easy meditation technique
Learn how to meditate with your eyes open and shut
Be taught about the common meditation happenings and why they are OK!
Build up your ability to meditate with practice throughout the day

Body Calm Meditation - Sun 24th March, 10am - 4pm

Body Calm Meditation introduces you to a powerful way to experience health and happiness through a technique that understands and engages peace with life and the importance of the mind-body connection.
Body Calm Meditation gives your body the rest it needs to heal, while bringing about greater harmony with your mind, body, soul and life circumstances through engaging present moment awareness.
In this one day course we will explore:
What you want in life more than anything else
The mind-body connection and how it works
The Body Calm philosophy and how to apply it
Hidden sources of stress, unhappiness and bad health and how to reverse them
A simple, easy and powerful meditation technique
Learn how to meditate with your eyes open and shut
Be taught about the common meditation happenings and why they are OK!
Build up your ability to meditate with practice throughout the day

What to expect
I am passionate about beautiful environments and I searched high and low to find a space I wanted to teach meditation in. The Freestyle Yoga Project is a beautiful venue in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. It sits on the High Street with all the boutique shops and cafes and is just minutes from Tunbridge Wells station. It is the perfect venue to let go of overthinking and find more peace.
On these two workshop days we will:
Take time to get to know one another first in a small an intimate group (Max 10 people)
Take breaks to stretch and move and have refreshments
Give time to questions and sharing personal experiences
Break for lunch so you can enjoy a packed lunch or one of the cafe's nearby
Explore meditation together in a fun and relevant way
Meditation Made Easy
Mind Calm and Body Calm are different from other meditation techniques because they are awareness-based instead of mind-based, allowing you to have a deeper experience of Calm.
