Live Music Summit, conference for the european live music industry in Copenhagen, Denmark,
The live music industry is in growth. Ticket sales are booming and new festivals and venues are emerging on a regular basis. However, the development does not come without challenges for the companies and people working in the field.
At Live Music Summit key players in the live music industry of europe are invited to partake in a series of talks and panels that will help us understand the present and predict the future.
The programme for the summit includes Tony Visconti doing a keynote as well a London Night Czar Amy Lamé, Robin McNicol (Bonaroo Arts & Musc Festival) and Georgia Taglietti (Sónar) in panel talk on the future of the live industry as well as professor Steffen Ring presenting the advanced internet of things project MONICA devoted to find new ways of distributing sound in live settings. More announcements shortly.
On top of the program the summit will offer excellent networking options for organizers and companies involved in the live music industry. The impressive Royal Danish Library - or The Black Diamant as it is usually called will be the venue for the conference. The nearby Huset:KBH vil host the afterparty and showcases that will finish of the day.
Live Music Summit is organized by the association for danish live music venues and festivals - Dansk Live as well as ROSA - The Danish Rock Council. The summit is supported by Ticketmaster, Tuborg, The Tuborg Foundation and Avis.
