With ‘Moonlight’ recently winning ‘Best Picture’ at this year’s Oscars and works such as ‘Carol’ and ‘Tangerine’ receiving great critical success, films exploring LGBT themes are increasingly gaining more attention in popular cinema. A panel of LGBT film experts discuss their own experiences working in the LGBT film industry, from work in the production and distribution of LGBT films to running an LGBT film festival. Come and learn more about how filmmakers are expressing LGBT stories in contemporary cinema and the direction it is heading in.
