Have you ever wanted to see what it's like to perform a network Penetration Test? This two-day course helps those who are just beginning in their security path. We will discuss penetration testing methodology, how to perform reconnaissance/intel gathering, all sorts of scanning techniques, exploiting different types of applications, post exploitation, and reporting. Throughout the hands-on labs, you will be compromising systems and networks all with our custom VM image.
In the two days, you will be dropped into a real world internal network and confidently learn how to do a Penetration Test.

Upon Completion of this training, attendees will know:
How to run common Penetration Testing software
How to perform a Penetration Test
Get comfortable with Metasploit and Similar Exploitation Tools
How to effectively and efficiently find vulnerabilities on a network
Attendees should bring:
administrator access (to disable host firewall)
network connectivity and dongles
capacity to run two virtual machines simultaneously using either VMware Workstation or Player or Fusion (for OS X).

Pre-requisites for attendees:
Basic understanding of penetration testing methodology and tools
Basic GNU/Linux command line
