Description
Three speakers. Small Gathering. Warm Welcome.
Join us for a night of stories and conversation designed to connect and inspire female changemakers.
We'll come together to hear from three speakers from three different worlds, each of whom has stepped up to new adventures and will share the lessons they have learned.
Meet the speakers
Our evening will take us on a journey into new realms, with these three women taking the stage:
Emma Obanye, serial entrepreneur and founder of Mindful Team, who will share the highs and lows of the rollercoaster start-up world. As self-proclaimed 'tech geek from Hackney', Emma sold her first business BuddyBounce after raising £400k in funding, has been featured in the Evening Standard and City AM, and is now a OneTech leader on a mission to get more women and people of colour into London's tech universe. Hear about her journey from pitching the CEO of Universal Music in his LA home, to the challenges of knowing when to stop and start something new.
Katherine Baldwin, transformational coach, on how she went from the fast frenetic world of international journalism at Reuters and Bloomberg, through burnout and breakdown to discover a new life on the Dorset shores. She is the author of How To Fall In Love, and she now specialises in helping professional women to reclaim their true selves, create lives and careers they truly love. She writes a regular blog for Psychologies magazine, and her work has appeared in Red, Good Housekeeping, The Sunday Times, The Daily Mail and Woman’s Hour.
Bex Band, Love Her Wild and Blue-e ocean conservation founder, who will share her tales of trekking 1000km through the Negev desert and how she became recognised as one of the 'richest' women in the world. Put off by the lack of women and competitiveness of the outdoor scene, Bex set up Love Her Wild - an adventure community for women, now with 6,000 members worldwide. Bex has led all-female expeditions all over the world, from the Arctic Circle to the peaks of Northern India, and hopes to inspire others to realise their full potential and to care more for the planet.
Tickets strictly limited to enable conversations, not crowds.
How does it work?
This is a new female-only event that sparks new ideas, builds support networks and expands comfort zones.
Why? Because something magical happens when powerful women gather.
The evening will begin and end in the beautiful 42 Acres reception hall where you are warmly invited to join us before and afterwards for drinks and conversation.
7.15pm — Doors

Our guests are typically professional women aged 30+, but it is open to all women (and those who identify as women) interested in growing and expanding their capabilities.
Past attendees include film directors, charity founders, novelists, phds, lecturers and coders.
We are a warm and welcoming community, and we look forward to seeing you there.
