Scarborough Arts is pleased to partner with the Toronto Arts Council (TAC) to present a workshop with Peter Kingstone, Visual and Media Arts Officer at TAC. Peter will lead an informal discussion on how to access TAC funds; what is needed for a grant; tips and best practices for writing a grant application (focusing on the importance of storytelling, audience, history, and documentation); matching your project with the appropriate grants; and other possible sources of funding for your projects.
This workshop is geared for artists looking to apply to the Visual Artists and the Media Artists programs.
This workshop is FREE but registration is required.
