Please join us on December 16, 2023 for National Wreaths Across America Day at Sarasota National Cemetery where we will Remember and Honor over 32,000 Veterans, Spouses and Qualified Dependents interred on these hallowed grounds.
Admission Information for families who have loved ones at Sarasota National Cemetery that wish to attend "Family First":
Admittance for all time frames is through Vehicle Parking Pass only. One Vehicle Parking Pass per family/group will be issued. Number of passengers in vehicle will be required at checkout. Do not request a Parking Pass for each person in your vehicle.
Driver must have their Parking Pass readily available upon arrival at the MAIN ENTRANCE to the cemetery. Your Parking Pass will arrive by Email through Universe/Ticketmaster (check your SPAM before contacting host). Carpooling and Ride Share is recommended. Please see below for Offsite Parking and Ride-Share Location.
You must know your loved one's Section and Site number when you register for a Vehicle Pass. In addition, you will need to provide this information upon entry to the cemetery. This information can be found on the National Cemetery Administration's National Gravesite Locator at:

Offsite Parking is located two miles west of Sarasota National Cemetery at Suncoast Community Church and Charter School. 8000 Hawkins Road, Sarasota FL 34241. We are encouraging all families, groups and volunteers to meet at this location, then carpool and/or ride-share. Park in the Main Parking area only, please.
"Family First" Time Selections: December 16, 2023
The time frame you choose is for arrival on the hour and departure 45 minutes later.
Do not arrive prior to your time frame.
Enter at Main Entrance and follow gate and traffic attendants directions. You will receive a wreath for your loved one - no additional wreaths will be distributed. Traffic throughout the cemetery is one way. Exit at East Entrance per traffic attendants' directions.
Family First Time Selections are (Choose one time frame only):
Entry time 8:00, exit at 8:45
Entry time 9:00, exit at 9:45
Entry time 10:00 exit at 10:45
Family First and Ceremony - Entry time 11:am. All Families registering for this time frame will be able to lay their loved one's wreath and then attend our ceremony at 12:00pm at Patriot Plaza, then at the conclusion, assist with laying remaining wreaths with volunteers entering the cemetery at 1pm.
