With new restrictions in place on young people attending school in person, we are re-launching our online club so that you and your children can keep learning from home!
Join us for lots of different bite-sized activites that your children can work on from home whilst receiving support and guidance from our industry professional mentors. Use this time to learn more about the world of digital technology!
This online club is suitable for young people in secondary school.
We will be using Google Classrooms as a space for challenges and activities to be posted to young people to complete and share problems they have come across. Whilst many of the activities that will be posted will require a device (laptop/tablet), we will be posting some activities that young people can complete offline without any devices. We recommend having access to either a laptop or tablet to make the most of the online club.
To join the Digital Champions Online Club, each student will require their own secure Google login and password, provided and managed by parents/guardians (unless the young person is aged 13+, where they are able to take responsibility for their own account). To create a new Google account please go to the webpage below or you may choose to use a pre-existing account,
https://accounts.google.com/signup
Please keep note of the email address used to create the account as you will need this to register for the online club. We have recently been made aware that some school email accounts do not work with our Google Classroom, please try to avoid using an email account from school when registering!
This is an ongoing event and will be cancelled once we are able to resume running clubs at the stadium.
If for any reason, you wish to withdraw the young person from the online club, this can be done by notifying us at digitaleducation@homplc.co.uk
