Heather Manus, RN is a native New Mexican and Registered Nurse specializing in all aspects of medical cannabis care. As founder of the Arizona Cannabis Nurses Association and fierce advocate for veterans and mental health, Nurse Heather was responsible for the addition of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSd) as a debilitating condition under Arizona’s medical marijuana act. In 2015, Nurse Heather was honored for her efforts, and awarded the CannAwards “Best Charitable/Community Outreach Program,” and Cannabis Business Awards “Activist of the Year.”
Heather began her career as a Registered Nurse providing psychiatric home health care to patients in New Mexico. Nurse Heather has extensive background and experience in natural healing modalities and herbal remedies, some of which she obtained from her close association with Hispanic and Native American healers in New Mexico. Her vast knowledge and holistic approach to individualized patient care has been the cornerstone of her success as a nurse, educator, and promoter of health.
In both, New Mexico and Arizona, she opened the first licensed medical cannabis infusion facilities to provide cannabis patients with smokeless alternative products. Her newly launched company, Nature Nurse, combines years of knowledge and experience with modern science and research to provide high quality products & services that naturally support the endocannabinoid system and encourage increased health & well-being.
Nurse Heather has presented to shares knowledge nationally and internationally, providing mental health, plant medicine education, and cannabis industry assistance in Alaska, Colorado, Massachusetts, Florida, New Mexico, California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Australia. Nurse Heather has been a beloved presenter in the educational, medical, and cannabis industry conference speaking circuits since 2010. Her deep understanding, unique perspectives and professional delivery makes learning a positive and enriching experience. Nurse Heather has been featured and published in several magazines, hosts an online podcast “Good News with Nurse Heather”, and is currently in pre-production for a daytime TV show “Knowledge is Power.”
Nurse Heather travels far and wide, sharing love and knowledge everywhere she goes. She believes that knowledge is power, and strives to empower as many people as possible. As a result, in 2016 Nurse Heather was honored to receive the Cannabis Business Awards ‘Educational Achievement’ Award, and the ‘Leader of Nursing’ Award from Cannabis Nurses Magazine.
Nurse Juhlzie Monteiro, RN, BSK (@AskNurseJuhlzie) is a Registered Nurse in the state of Nevada and a UNLV Alumni. She has worked over twenty years in medicine specializing in Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatric ER/Trauma (PALS) and Adult ER (ACLS/TNCC), Outpatient Surgery and Pain Management, and a Nurse Educator in many of these specialties. She is the President of Nevada Cannabis Nurses Association (NVCNA), a member of American Nurses Association (ANA) and Nevada State Nurses Association (NSNA). Through American Cannabis Nurses Association (ACNA) she has earned certificates in The Basic Core Curriculum for Cannabis Nursing and The Advanced Curriculum for Cannabis Nursing. She is on the Nurse Advisory Board for Nature Nurse and one of the Founders of Cannabis Nurses Network which is a Global network for Nurses around the world. She is known in the Las Vegas Community as “Ask Nurse Juhlzie” and educates professionals, patients, caregivers, corporations, and legislation on Cannabis Therapeutics and the science behind the plant in numerous platforms. She contributes to the non-profit organizations of Canna-Aid Foundation and Impact Network, and is the Co-creator and Editor of Cannabis Nurses Magazine which are national platforms within the Cannabis Industry to promote cannabis information, education, and research. She is an advocate and voice for the patients and believes “Education is the key” to the success and future of integrating Cannabis into Health and Wellness.

Lisa LeFevre, an entrepreneur and educator, has more than 22 years consulting experience in business and healthcare education. Lisa has produced over 100 custom courses, and HR competency systems for global corporations. Invited lectures include six years at The Technical University of Budapest for Executive Leaders as they transition from communism to capitalism.
Lisa began her cannabis advocacy work in Florida in 2014, developing and delivering educational conferences and representing "Florida for Care" at Public Hearings and panel presentations.
Since moving to Pueblo, CO in 2015, Lisa hit the ground running and is the Founding Southern Colorado Chapter Chair of Women Grow connecting, educating and empowering current and aspiring successful independent cannabis leaders.
Excited to build upon and leverage her business and medical background, Lisa will be working with Nurse Heather Manus and Nurse Juhlzie Monterio to launch their Nature Nurse line of products and supporting lines of business to include Cannabis Nurses Magazine and the Cannabis Nurses Network.
Lisa is also working with horticulture and agriculture experts to apply "best practices" to clean grow environments. In August, her family opened a 14,000 sq. ft. cannabis farm in Colorado City. Their farm will introduce global technologies and processes, not yet utilized in cannabis grows to support "clean and green" cannabis and farm environments.
Lisa holds and Executive MBA from the University of Rochester, a BS in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is a board certified R(RT) healthcare professional. She is a lifelong learner who enjoys mentoring and championing winds of change as legal cannabis efforts sweep and intertwine nationally, state by state -- and locally.
Lisa is a BIG contributor politically as a high profile activist fighting against prohibition to PRESERVE AMENDMENT 20 AND 64 that defends our right to exist and thrive, and assures patients safe access to high quality medical cannabis products in Colorado.
