BALANCE has provided skills training and support to persons who are blind or living with sight loss for over 30 years in the city of Toronto.
Aligning with the BALANCE mission, this Benefit Concert and Reception was established to raise funds to support our renowned group instruction. More about Michael Atnowitt:
Michael’s imaginative musical landscapes and extraordinary sense of touch at the piano have delighted audiences in concert halls around the world. Michael will grace our ears with classical pieces by Bach, Brahms, Prokofiev and others, some of his own jazz compositions from his recent recording Sweet Spontaneous, and selections from his Jazz Suite from West Side Story, which draws on songs such as Maria and Somewhere. Michael lives with sight loss due to RP (Retinitis Pigmentosa).
