Advanced Clinical Supervision I - 3 CEUsMay 27th, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Clinical supervision can create bedrock for budding counselors to explore, take risks, and refine skills. It can also undermine the learning process and reinforce characteristics counter to the fundamental tenets of the counseling profession. In this training we will explore evidence-based models of supervision, learn and discuss ways to structure the process of learning and how we can serve as gatekeepers to our profession and protect client welfare.
Advanced Clinical Supervision II - 3 CEUs*May 27th, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Clinical Supervisors are constantly faced with difficult and complex ethical dilemmas in their work with supervisees. In these instances, Supervisors are tasked with, not only, determining a course of action, but also how to make each of these situations a learning opportunity for our supervisees while protecting the welfare of clients. In this training we will discuss ethical code and legal precedence that govern the work of professional Supervisors. *This training meets requirements for both ethics CEU’s and CS CEU hours.
