THINK-DO-SHOP: A Prototyping, Design and Social Action Workshop
with Megan Goering
The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center is kicking off a new series of workshops called, THINK-DO! Whether you're an entrepreneur or a citizen looking to apply your curiosity and skills to solve problems in your community, this is a chance to start taking action.
The Center and special guest Megan Goering are eager to experiment with creating new frameworks and opportunities for compassionate, entrepreneurial minded people to respond to social issues they find disturbing.
In this first session, we will tackle the problematic student loan industry and graduate indebtedness.
Let's
come together for candid conversation and share our stories and ideas
to distill constructive steps towards fixing the broken system. We'll
analyze the problem, shake free some insights, and leave slightly more
empowered. Sounds ambitious for 3 hours? We'll leverage creativity and problem solving, design and prototyping skills for thoughtful next steps - and let's see what happens!
Bring your anecdotes, passion and inspiration. Together we can THINK-DO to develop a plan for how to help!
*No
design experience required. Come with stories, research, and any
relevant background on the student debt problem we're tackling.
**Refreshments will be provided.
The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center is a San Francisco-based non-profit that provides aspiring and current entrepreneurs with access to quality resources, including mentors, training, and networking.
