4th Annual Comedy Night for Harrybrooke Park

On April 7th, 2018 Harrybrooke Park will be hosting our 4th annual Comedy Night fund raiser at the Arion Singing Society in New Milford, CT. It's time to bring the funny!
"For four years we have brought the funny to sell out crowds and we are so very proud of the track record of this event," said Harrybrooke Park Executive Director, Billy Buckbee. "Each year we bring a mix of comics and this year the talent is truly off the charts."
Combining a live auction with dinner, provided by Candlewood Valley Country Club, this fund raiser has become a staple not only for the park, but for the community.
This year the three features comics are Meghan Hanley, Tommy Gooch and New Milford's own, Kathy "KJ" Johansen.
KJ Johansen is also the Co-owner & Host of KBJB Radio & TV, & Co-owner of Humor House Productions. She has performed and produced Comedy show’s in the Ridgefield Playhouse, Funny Bone comedy clubs and Caroline’s NYC.
KJ Pulls her audience in for pure laughs with stories of her life experiences, her family & Some possible audience participation! Recently her "alter ego" persona of the Long Island Comedium has taken on a life of its own!
Brooklyn-based comedian Meghan Hanley has been seen on Gotham Comedy Live AXSTV and Laughs on FOX. She is also the star and host of her own web series Sports Tabata. Recently seen on MSG’s People Talking Sports, she is a regular on the NYC circuit and performs at clubs across the country. Lastly, she smiles a lot which some people find suspicious, but mostly endearing.
Tommy Gooch's ranting, self-deprecating, family-oriented style of comedy has been hitting hard with audiences for many years.He performs at all the major clubs in New York City and the surrounding area and is a regular at the world-famous Broadway Comedy Club. Tommy also performs at the Borgata Comedy Club in Atlantic City NJ where he had recently headlined.He has been a guest on the Staten Island Comedy Show on Time Warner TV & SiriusXM Satellite Radio.Tommy's natural, loveable, off-the-cuff comedy always makes him a favorite for any spot, as his specialization in audience interaction makes him a popular all around comic.
Tickets are $50/person and include dinner and there will be a cash bar. Harrybrooke Park is also seeking sponsors of the event and would like to welcome Marandola Fuel as our first sponsor with more to come.
