The Heritage Council of Victoria is very excited to announce that leading architect Kerstin Thompson will be giving this year’s Heritage Address as part of Open House Melbourne’s July 2019 program.
Passionate about integrating our heritage into the future of our city, Kerstin Thompson has worked on award winning architectural projects with heritage at their heart. Her recent project, The Stables at the University of Melbourne, Faculty of Fine Arts & Music received a Heritage & Educational Architecture Award from the AIA Victorian Chapter in 2018.
Kerstin’s practice focuses on architecture as a civic endeavour with an emphasis on user experience and enjoyment of place. Her talk will be a thought-provoking look at the role heritage plays in our cities and lives.
The 2019 Heritage Address is presented by Open House Melbourne and the Heritage Council of Victoria and supported by The University of Melbourne.
