Among America’s most widely toured university concert bands, Brigham Young University’s Wind Symphony is composed of 50 of the university’s finest players as they combine to play energetic marches, classical pieces, and original works. The band blends the sounds of woodwinds, brass, and percussion as it plays music ranging from John Philip Sousa’s rousing marches and popular medleys of Broadway hits to a wide variety of concertos and original wind compositions. In addition to flawless performances and technical expertise as a unit, BYU’s Wind Symphony features highly trained instrumental soloists.
