Presence, Persuasion & Impact: Communication Skills Training Fall 2016
Comprehensive, Long-Term Program in Business Communication Success!
Designed for Entrepreneurs & Self-Employed, of all skill levels
THIS FALL:
Stop losing sales because of poor preparation
Project authority and expertise to your audience
Craft a strong message that resonates with your customers
Overcome objections and challenges during the sale and close more deals
Conduct successful negotiations for maximum benefit for all parties
This program, over 4 consecutive Saturdays, will be a combination of lectures, strategy sessions, and practice drills and exercises for strong communication skill development.
We will focus on maximizing the two main aspects of your communication: verbal and nonverbal.
Verbal Communication:
1. You will identify the most effective words, phrases and questions for your business based on the needs of your audience and what they want to hear
2. You will learn how to manage objections and resistance during the sales process, develop a productive dialogue, and reframe the discussion
3. You will learn strategic listening techniques to better understand your counterpart, what matters to him/ her, and where you can add value
4. You will be able to develop a strong, concise, persuasive and powerful message to describe your brand, business or project
5. You will see the best way to present your message for maximum impact on first impression, whether on a cold call, at networking events or other first contact
Nonverbal Communication:
1. You will fully understand the essentials of body language, and identify your current strengths, weaknesses and areas for improvement
2. You will practice and improve your hand gestures and body movement
3. You will develop a charismatic and compelling vocal style, break out of monotone speaking, and capture attention with your voice
4. You will learn critical lessons on fashion and style for presenting yourself in a professional, competent and unique way
5. You will recognize ways to improve your eye contact and facial expressiveness when speaking

3:40 - 4:00 PM Break

LOCATION:
Rooms can only be booked a week in advance, so the location will be sent out one week before the starting date of the program. All classes will be in Manhattan, NY.
