Using a Transnational Feminist lens, Summer School of Women's Activism (SSOWA) attendees of this event will raise consciousness on various topics through the women of color feminist perspective. This is a feminist space only for women identified.
All sessions are Saturdays from 9am-12pm and there will be 4 different sessions, two in South Bay and two in Orange County. Cost includes breakfast and readings materials.
Week One: Feminism 101: Transnational Feminism and the Rise of the Fourth Wave of Feminism
Week Two: Putting Learned Theories and Perspectives into Praxis
Week Three: Zionism and Palestine
Week Four: Reproductive Justice: Building an Intersectional Feminist Community
