Description
Join us on Thursday, April 11, as we partner with The Collective for an evening of open conversation, thoughtful discussion, and intentional action.
We’ll discuss equity, microaggressions and the double consciousness women of color in the workplace experience on a daily basis. We’ll also have opportunities to reflect on learned patterns of behavior and how white allies can recognize these patterns and practice strategies to better collaborate in multicultural settings. We encourage guests to share their experiences, ask questions and join us in our collective call to action.
This panel discussion will feature Majd Baniodeh, Senior Specialist, Global Social Impact & Public Policy at Starbucks; Susi Collins, Senior Program Manager, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Nordstrom; Aramis O. Hamer, Artist; and Sara Itucas, Co-Founder of Legalpad.
This event is open to men and women of color and white allies. We do not want to discourage attendance due to an event fee. Please email larasepulveda@gmail.com if you need financial support to attend this event.
