Yonge + St. Clair's Rooftop Wellness Series is a new event series designed to refresh and recharge your mind, body and soul. From July 10 – August 28, enjoy free instructional sessions led by local wellness professionals every Wednesday from 7am – 8am on the rooftop of 40 St. Clair W. Enjoy beautiful, unobstructed views of the downtown skyline from atop a high-rise building and practice healthy living from a range of wellness disciplines. The Rooftop Wellness Series is brought to you by the Yonge + St. Clair BIA in partnership with Slate Asset Management. JULY 10 Optimal Movement by Ace Sports Clinic Discover your range of motion with Ace Sports Clinic experts, as they guide you through a series of stretches, light exercises and movements. Learn what you can do to reduce and eliminate any restrictions, tightness, soreness, or pain, and increase you mobility to its highest level. Enjoy what you love to do, pain free and with optimal movement. Live well. Keep playing. What to BringBring your own fitness mat and water. Limited quantities of bottled water will be available. Wear comfortable workout clothing. Washrooms are available on site and can be used to change, but are not traditional change-room facilities. Shower facilities are not available. Where to Go Enter through the main doors of 40 St. Clair W on the north side of St. Clair Avenue. Follow the signs and take the elevator to the 14th floor. Event staff will be there to greet you and escort you to the rooftop. Safety You will be required to sign a waiver prior to entering the rooftop for this class. Follow all signage and directions form event staff. Please be advised that this is taking place on a high rooftop - those with a fear of heights are not recommended to take part. Although there is a secure retaining wall surrounding the roof, no safety equipment is provided and attendees are reminded to stay away from the rooftop edges.A working Alveole honeybee hive is also located on the rooftop, which provides honey for the building's tenants. The bees are harmless but should not be disturbed, so please be reminded to stay away from the hive. Those with any bee or related allergies should not participate in this class. *PHOTOGRAPHY* As this is the first class, we will be inviting a professional photographer to document the session. You will be required to sign a photography release waiver. You may opt out of participating in this class should you not wish to have your photograph taken. Weather Cancellations In the event of inclement weather, the class will be cancelled and all registrants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Registrants will be invited first-in-line to a replacement class to be held at the earliest available date for the instructor.
