Learn the basics of woodworking as you watch tired, weathered old wood change its personality and transform into beautiful coaster designs that fit your personal taste. In this class, you’ll gain the foundation you’ll need to master the art of repurposing pallet wood into useful and stylish objects for home, garden or office.
What You’ll Experience:
You’ll start by learning about your materials: pallets. Certain types are good for certain projects, and we’ll tell you everything you need to know. Then you’ll learn to achieve your desired look as you cut and shape the reclaimed wood to your liking. The class finishes with teaching finishing basics to condition and protect wood for its upcoming use as a protective coaster.
Skills You’ll Develop:
Cutting boards into evenly sized pieces
Create various shapes and designs on corners and edges
Smoothen and finish surfaces
Finishing wood with food-safe conditioners

Note: A minimum of 4 participants is required for the class to run, so make sure to invite your friends!
