Celebrate Valentine’s weekend with this romantic NYC favorite paired with a cabaret performance of love songs courtesy of Nick Myers and the New York Theatre Organ Society (NYTOS) on their travelling organ. We will also honor Carrie Fisher and mark the 87th anniversary of the Palace’s former life as the Loew’s 175th Street Theatre, which opened on February 12, 1930. Help us celebrate 87 years and kickoff the season themed “Movies that Reawaken Wonder.”
For the true romantic looking for dinner and a movie, we are offering limited seating on stage for a pre-show meal called the “I’ll Have What She’s Having” deli special at only $87 a couple. You will also have table-side seating for the cabaret and reserved seating for the movie.
Just like Harry and Sally's famous date at Katz's, enjoy a classic NYC Kosher deli experience by uptown's own Loeser's Kosher Deli; in business for 57 years.
The "I'll Have What She's Having" special features:
Corned beef, pastrami and turkey on rye
Traditional potato salad and cole slaw
Pickles and relish
Dr. Brown's sodas
Local wine shop Vines on Pine will provide a selection of wines that pair well with pastrami
This screening is part of the “Reawaken Wonder at a Timeless Movie Palace” campaign to bring cinema-quality audio to the Palace to match the new DCP projector donated by Broadway superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda. Learn more here.
