Welltodo Founder Series
-- Presented by Bird & Bird --
London’s leading event series for forward-thinking brands, startups, influencers and investors in the wellness industry.
The Welltodo Founder series is back in 2017, and we're looking at global business. With the success of the series in 2016, we're going one bigger, and taking our community on a journey beyond the UK. We're asking you to explore the possibilities in the global wellness industry – by gathering Founders of next-level businesses, to share their insights and advice.
The wellness industry isn't slowing down. It is now estimated to be worth $3.72 trillion globally, and it has never been a better time to launch or grow a wellness brand, in a fast-growing industry that is now ripe for investment.
To launch the Welltodo Founder Series for 2017, we’re inviting you to join in the conversation with our curated panel of wellness entrepreneurs, who’ll share industry insights, strategies to launch and grow your brand, and advice from challenges they’ve faced along the way.
This event is designed to help you take your business to the next level!
Presented by Bird & Bird, and hosted by industry expert and founder of Welltodo, Lauren Armes, you’re in for a taste of what success in the wellness industry looks and feels like. The panel will discuss forming unique marketing strategies, funding initiatives, finding a mentor, overcoming the fear, the art of hiring, and how they see the industry changing and evolving. Afterward, you’ll have a chance to mingle with other forward-thinking movers and shakers.
With a history of selling out, don’t waste time registering for this event – grab your ticket now and join the ride!

The Panel
Lee Forster | Co-Founder, Neat Nutrition
Lee Forster is the co-founder of Neat Nutrition and a former GB swimmer. After graduating from the University of Bath with a masters in Economics & Finance, Lee enjoyed a career as a commercial strategist. In 2015, he and business partner Charlie Turner left the corporate world to start Neat Nutrition. Born out of a desire for high-quality ingredients, simple design and most importantly, a great tasting natural product, Neat Nutrition is for every lifestyle. The brand’s vision and ethos include education, provenance and support. Neat protein powders contain no artificial sweeteners, flavourings or fillers and all products contain ingredients that are responsibly sourced. Since the company’s launch in 2015, the brand is now sold across Europe, the US and Asia. A strong partnership with global brand lululemon saw Neat launch their first Café in the Canadian company’s new European Flagship store on Regent Street in January. An exclusive range of proteins and supplements are now also sold through Mr. Porter and Net-a- Porter across the globe.
Inge Theron | FOUNDER, FaceGym
Inge Theron is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of FaceGym, the UK’s only gym studio for the face, with 4 locations across London. After 3 years writing a spa column for the Financial Times’ How To Spend It, 4 years uncovering beauty secrets from around the world (both ancient and modern), and a face-lifting procedure that left her housebound, Inge realised that there must be a better way to age gracefully. She channelled her knowledge and experience into a new and innovative non-invasive concept. Through FaceGym, a totally unique proposition, ‘face trainers’ perform a range of lifting and sculpting workouts designed to train the 40+ muscles in the face. The results are amplified with high-performance skincare products and non-invasive technology.
‘We see ourselves as a fitness company, we just happen to work on the face’ – Inge Theron
Ed Hawley | Co-Director, The Floatworks
Ed Hawley is the Co-Director of Floatworks, a brand bringing mainstream attention to the life-changing benefits of floating. Like yoga and meditation before it, floating has a long and proud tradition of helping its practitioners live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives. But unlike these more established practices, floating has remained relatively unknown in the mainstream – until now. Hawley, together with his business partner Chris Plowman, see floating as a key development in the future of wellness and have ambitious plans to open 10 new float centres in the next 3 years. Prior to Floatworks, Ed worked as a tech-outsourcing commercial lead for 10 years for a FTSE 100 company before leaving the corporate world to become a wellness entrepreneur. Ed’s passion is in understanding the mind-body connection and its implications for holistic wellbeing.
