The Space In Between: Balancing Art, Ecology and LearningBy TCL (Taylor Cullity Lethlean) led by Perry Lethlean (Director, TCL) and Neha Juddoo (Landscape Architect)
Description:
Australian university campuses are rapidly evolving to keep pace with changing educational requirements. This walking tour will cover a number of recently completed urban design and landscape architecture projects by TCL (Taylor Cullity Lethlean) that balance social, cultural and ecological objectives to create spaces that encourage learning and the cross fertilisation of ideas. The walk will take in the multi-award winning Monash Campus Green and the newly completed Queens Avenue.
TCL designers will discuss the challenges of creating a successful and integrated precinct, one that expresses the very best of the university’s values and aspirations for the future.
