Understanding the Continuous Professional Learning Portfolio

Join us for an informative session exploring the Continuous Professional Learning Program. CECE representative and RECE, Meredith Farley, will provide an overview of the CPL program requirements and discuss how RECEs can support each other in professional learning..
We will consider and discuss key concepts of professionalism and the Code and Standards 2017. Participants will be guided through the CPL Portfolio Cycle, which is designed to facilitate reflection, planning, and engagement in your professional learning. We will learn about how other RECEs are enhancing their practice through the CPL program and reflect on how to set and meet our professional learning goals.
Meredith Farley is a Professional Practice Analyst at the College of Early Childhood Educators. She has extensive experience in leadership and supervisory roles in a variety of early learning and care settings. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Ryerson University and focuses on inclusion, diversity and accessibility. Before joining the College of Early Childhood Educators, Meredith was a Research Assistant and Lecturer within the School of Early Childhood Studies at Ryerson University.
