Description
Three Means Business, a new mobile offering for businesses from Three UK, is to host an evening of inspiration and advice on Monday 3 February for budding entrepreneurs hoping to make 2020 the ‘Year of the Boss’. Bringing together a panel of leading business founders, including British fashion designer Patrick Grant, the free event is set to give guests the opportunity to garner top tips from the experts and inspire more people to turn their side hustle into a dream job this year.
The event will take place at Studio Three, the brand’s exclusive content studio at its flagship Oxford Street store, and will be hosted by Startups.co.uk editor, Bryn Glover. The session will look at some of the biggest challenges facing new businesses and how to overcome these - from funding, to branding, and everything in-between. Bryn will be joined by a panel of leading bosses, including:
Patrick Grant - Iconic British fashion designer and Director of bespoke tailors Norton & Sons of Savile Row, E. Tautz, social enterprise Community Clothing, and Cookson & Clegg. Patrick is also Creative Director of Debenham’s best-selling concession Hammond & Co. He is best known as a judge on the television series The Great British Sewing Bee.
Thom Elliot – After founding Pizza Pilgrims with brother James in 2012, the pair now boast nine locations in London, as well as a restaurant in Oxford.
Saasha Celestial-One - Co-founder of food-sharing app Olio, which connects neighbours and local businesses so surplus food can be shared, not thrown away.
Joycelyn Mate - Co-founder of natural haircare, Afrocenchix.
The ‘Year of the Boss’ event follows the launch of Three Means Business in 2019 – a mobile offering tailored to the UK’s growing number of entrepreneurs and small businesses. Three Means Business is an affordable mobile contract, with up to £500 worth of benefits from our partners, some of the best business tools out there – such as website builder Wix, accounting software FreshBooks, the print and design company MOO, and office provider, WeWork.
