SHANICE WILLIAMS
Shanice Williams is an Actress Singer and Songwriter form NJ. She had her big break in 2015 as Dorothy in NBC’s The Wiz Live and she just finished the run of her first off-broadway show in September 2018. She was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for Best Actress in a limited show for TV and recently won Best Actress at the NY Series Fest for her role in HBO’s Manic. Now, Shanice is beginning her journey as a Contemporary Gospel Artist.
SYNOPSIS:
One night during a New York City snowstorm, a young African-American kindergarten teacher leaves a large family dinner to chase after her dog. To Dorothy's dismay, she gets swept up by a cyclone and transplanted to the urban version of the land of Oz. (Synopsis from Turner Classic Movies)
