Ten years on from the last Murder Mystery at Oakfield Park, A Disturbance at Difflin, The Murder Express returns this July with another spine-chilling mystery to be solved – The Butlers did it. Think you’re clever enough to crack the case? Are you brave enough to try?
We invite you to enter into the world of the mystery, where the daughter of the Count and Countess finds herself with a murdered fiancé; his body washed up on the lake shore on the morning of the wedding. The town piazza is full of expectant wedding guests and there’s more than one character with something to hide amongst them.
This fully immersive theatrical experience will have you interrogating key suspects in a bid to uncover the truth and investigating key locations along the route. We welcome you on board the Duchess of Difflin steam train to journey through the story of feuding families, jilted lovers, deep-rooted corruption, and of course cold-blooded murder.
Enjoy a theatrical dining experience with Prosecco and canapes upon arrival, an hour of immersive theatre and train ride followed by a delicious banquet with paired wines and full bar in Buffers.
There are three performances across the evening of Saturday 1st of July – 18.15, 18.45 and 19.15 and Buffers will remain open until 23.00 for one night only.
Please note, the carriage has shared compartmental seating. It is important to be aware that theatre and live performance is a key part of this show, we request that all guests adhere to theatre etiquette to ensure a quality experience is had by all.
Early booking is advised due to very limited availability.
