Hull Venue is a state-of-the-art, music and events complex with a capacity of up to 3,500 people that will allow Hull to attract large corporate conferences, exhibitions and trade tours as well as major touring concerts, stand-up comedy, family shows and sporting events. The plans include the building of the new arena, alongside the rebuilding of Osborne Street car park and additional public spaces in a currently derelict area on Myton Street adjacent to Princes Quay shopping centre. The arena is scheduled to open during the summer of 2018. The building is owned by Hull City Council and managed by SMG Europe.
