CREATING A WORLD OF RESPONSIBLE LEADERS
This is the second event in the TEDxCopenhagen event series, uncovering the future of work, at Copenhagen Business School. Over the course of 4 events we'll try to answer the question: "What the **** will my future look like?".
MADE POSSIBLE BY GOLD SPONSORS PwC Danmark & COWISILVER SPONSOR Novorésumé
80% of millennials state that they want to work for an organisation that makes a positive impact. Therefore, it is more important than ever for companies to boost their values and ethics. The acceleration in technology, globalization and climate change create complexities which demand a new approach in corporate culture. It needs to focus on making a real impact, not just in the interest of our planet, democracy and basic human rights, but for the sake of future generations’ well-being. Purpose and profit go hand in hand like never before.
Social enterprises might be the way to tackle these complications. In such a context, responsible leaders who take a stand on political, social, and values-based issues are a crucial guiding force for instilling change.
Hearing about environmental disasters and failing democracies in the news may cause you to feel helpless. However, working together towards the same purpose will block out the fear. Let's start by using our voices and platforms to advocate for the reforms that our planet needs.
Join #TEDxCopenhagen at CBS for a night of unique talks and discussions with ✨ Ideas Worth Spreading. Content and talks have been curated together with professionals from companies like Novo Nordisk, IBM, Google, Deloitte, Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, Individuals, YoungConsult, Copenhagen Business School and Børsen.
The program will explore what defines a responsible leader and examine their necessity for creating a better tomorrow. Together, we will investigate how we can create social and sustainable impact ourselves, and why this will make us more attractive.
The event is open to everyone, whether you are a bachelor student or a young professional - just bring along your curiosity! 🧠

Without the help from PwC Danmark and COWI this event series would never have seen daylight. Hundreds of volunteer hours go into planning and producing an event series like this. But each event also comes with tons of expenses. We need AV for the show, video production, expert training of speakers and moderators, F&B for the 40 people working on set-up and event days, prints and signage, shipping and transportation and many other things that all add up to some big numbers. The grand help from PwC Danmark and COWI have helped us minimize financial risk and ultimately enabled us to offer tickets at very low and fair prices.
