ABOUT THE ACTS
On his records, Fetty Wap’s wobbly voice cuts through trap instrumentals and melodies, making his honest and aggressive lyrics a staple of Jersey’s rap scene. His likability comes from his influences, which are Gucci Mane (his name pays homage to Gucci’s nickname Guwop) and other trap innovators such as Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J and Project Pat. His flow on “Trap Queen,” captures the same feelings as his idols, and has ignited remixes from the likes of French Montana, Yo Gotti and Rick Ross. It’s a respectable career trajectory for someone who uploaded freestyled verses of “Trap Queen” to SoundCloud in March 2014. Fetty Wap says of his rapid ascent. “A lot of people don’t get the opportunity, so I’ma be a superstar until my star don’t burn no more.”
There is nothing ordinary when it comes to singer/songwriter LaBritney. Raised in Metro Detroit, LaBritney has always known that she was destined to be a performer. With a raw talent and true passion for music, LaBritney began to study legendary musicians such as Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, and Beyonce. As a one-woman-band, she quickly gained global attention from her unique methods of making music, solidifying an organic connection with her fans, LaNation. LaBritney has grabbed the attention of top tier music artists such as Timbaland, R Kelly, 50 Cent, Ashanti, and many more. The independent artist continues to gain traction, releasing singles, “How We Do,” “Xxxtra,” and “Forget About Me.” For LaBritney leading by example is imperative, exuding her mantra: Impossible= I’m Possible.
Snap Dogg is known as the Problem Of The Detroit raised off Plymouth Rd also known as P-Rock. The young rapper took an interest in music in 2011 after his twin brother, also an artists, Bronco, fell victim to gun violence. The Bronco Boyz are extended family from the west side carrying on the memory and legacy of their fallen brother. Quickly gaining respect from the industry heavy hitters for his high energy drill music, he has toured, gotten co-sign and features on songs with Chief Keef, Durk, Meek Mill, Fetty Wap, Trae Da Truth, TI, Blac Youngsta, Playboi Carti, and more.
The fast-rising career of rapper and singer Taylor J is proof of the good things that can happen when an artist carefully balances quality and quantity. Taylor’s steady flow of projects, standout collaborations with artists ranging from Gucci Mane to Nipsey Hussle to Next singer RL, and the other moves he’s executed have made him a highly respected artist in his native Midwest and beyond. Over the years, Taylor has also earned praise from prestigious publications including XXL, HotNewHipHop, Fake Shore Drive, and many more.
