Social enterprise Scotland Re:Design is thrilled to open this year's Scottish Fashion Festival with a return to its annual Awards, with food and drink at the spectacular Tatha Restaurant in V&A Dundee, overlooking the River Tay. Halley Stevensons and UNESCO City of Design Dundee are supporting the SR:D Awards, creating beautiful, purposeful, Awards with Dundee's jesmonite designer Nine Angels. Join us for an afternoon with V&A Dundee providing food and a drink on arrival (bar's open!), for a glittering afternoon. We will be celebrating the innovations, events, exhibitions, equality and sustainability impacts, creative work and success in Scottish Fashion, with a special focus on those behind the scenes doing amazing work in Scotland, and a focus on Shelter Scotland's new SR:D Award Fashion For Social Change. Scottish Fashion Festival events are held as fundraisers to cover costs and deliver micro-grants, support, showcase and promote Scottish fashion. Kicking off with a media Red Carpet, space is STRICTLY LIMITED, and this is your chance to show what you're made of, meet and network with nominees and sponsors, and talk all about Scottish Fashion against the backdrop of the beautiful waters of Tayside, the hills of Fife, and modern Dundee, reflecting the his and her stories of Scottish fashion and textiles in itself. All guests receive a drink on arrival, food, and the afternoon's networking, entertainment and awards. Seating is unreserved.
