My name is Gwenne Dickson from Living Your Best Life Coaching. I am a transformational coach and I use a powerful combination of tools and techniques to help you identify your goals and desires and to tap into the inner resources you possess to help you achieve them and manifest your Best Life, in whatever way feels best for you. Pranayama with Evita Tarakova of Invite Yoga
What is Yoga? Evita is going to discuss the origins of Yoga. She will aslo shre Ashtanga Yoga Philosophy, as well as the 8 limbs / 8 stages of yoga. The talk will also turn to the Hatha Yoga discipline. The many ways we can practise Yoga. More discussion will revolve around the Bandhas, Kriyas, and Nadis. Finally, we will practice Kapalabhati Pranayama (skull shining breath) and Nadi Shodana (alternate nostril breath).
Fermented & Probiotic Foods demonstration with Janice Clyne of Nourished by Nature
There will be lots of samples to try Janice will cover sourdough, fermented veggies, kimchi & kombucha. Janice will clarify some of the jargon surrounding gut health! Prebiotics/probiotics/microbiome/gut bacteria/fermented foods - what does it all mean? We will also cover are the best sources of probiotics, ie fermented veggies, kefir, kombucha. Janice will also discuss fibre & the importance of eating shed loads of it!! Many health issues we can address by improving our gut health. Literally every body system is affected by the gut, from metabolism, digestion, skin, immune system & mood.
Shamanic Drumming with Lorraine Goodison of Light Within
Shamanic drumming strengthens inner focus, quietens the mind, clears stagnant energy and revitalises the body. My aim with my drumming meditations is to create the experience of returning to the heart beat, that most essential of rhythms, in order to re-focus and balance you on all levels.
Dance of the Divine Feminine by Angela Maya Campbell of The Dance Goddess
Traditional, ancient belly dance is as much at home in the temples and pyramids of old India and Egypt as it is in the Highlands and Fairy Glens of Scotland and Ireland. It was originally a fertility dance but hey, don’t let that worry you, it’s just as easy to birth a new business with belly dance as it is a baby! Think about it…our bodies hold so much creative power and wisdom but in or day to day lives, it constantly gets crowded out by the chit chat of our minds. When we dance, it’s pure meditation in motion, we are completely in our body and we can’t do anything else but be in the here and now. That’s when we can begin to tap into our springs of inner divine feminine wisdom! In this mini workshop, I’ll teach you three specific belly dance moves to embody three different aspects of your inner Goddess. Can’t wait to dance with you!
