1111 California St, San Francisco, CA 94108, USA
We hope you'll join us to hear more about saving your favorite species at the Wildlife Conservation Expo on Saturday, October 12, at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco, CA. Expo gives you a chance to dive deeper into your love for wildlife, to learn what conservationists are doing to protect endangered animals, and become inspired to make a difference. It’s an event you won’t want to miss. Learn more and get tickets.
Esteemed ethologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, will start off Wildlife Conservation Expo weekend with a special Friday evening talk. Jane will share fascinating stories about her studies on wild chimpanzees in Gombe National Park beginning in 1960, which continue through the work of the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) (now the Guinness World Records longest running wild chimpanzee study). Dr. Goodall will also talk about JGI's innovative community-centered conservation work in Africa and Roots & Shoots global youth program. Goodall will reflect on why, despite the challenges of today, she continues to have reason for hope about the future of wildlife, people and the environment we all share.
Jane has been a champion for non-human animals, human rights, environmental protection and a conservation leader for decades. She spends 300 days a year traveling all around the world inspiring people to make compassionate decisions and take action to build a better world for all. She believes everyone has a role to play and can make a difference. Learn more at janegoodall.org.
