ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Pianist Benjamin Walley studied music at Brigham Young University and graduated with a degree in Piano Performance in August 2014, where he studied with acclaimed pianist Dr. Irene Peery-Fox. Benjamin frequently accompanies choirs and vocal soloists in concerts and vocal competitions such as NATS and Solo & Ensemble Competitions. He was born and raised in a very musical family in Richland, Washington. He studied piano with Bill McKay, Patti Robertson, and Dr. Leonard Richter, and participated in recitals, competitions, and various performances in the community and surrounding areas. Singers praise Benjamin Walley for his command of all styles of music and opera, his expressiveness, and attention to ensemble and balance between the singer and pianist. He doesn’t merely “accompany”—he adds another voice to the singer.
Soprano Molly Holleran performs frequently throughout the Pacific Northwest as a concert soloist, as well as appearing in opera and musical theatre. Recent solo concert performances include Handel’s Messiah with the Oregon East Symphony and Walla Walla Symphony, Verdi’s Requiem and Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Mid-Columbia Symphony, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Washington-Idaho Symphony. Molly is a founding member of both the Chicago Chamber Choir and the Tucson Chamber Artists, now known as True Concord. Molly holds undergraduate degrees in voice and theatre from Lawrence University in Wisconsin, and a master’s degree in voice from the University of Arizona,. She currently studies voice with Reginald Unterseher.
