Salty Woman: The Beauty of Balance
Pray Tell Bar
838 College St, Toronto, ON M6H 1A2, Canada
Join our second Salty Woman meet-up where we bring in women of influence to share their stories and invite others to break the silence and speak up and celebrate the achievements of our fellow sisters.
SALTY WOMAN: MAY 14, 2019
We do so much for everyone else that we don't spend enough time (or any time, let's be honest) on ourselves. It's important to realize that we can't help others if we're not healthy ourselves. On May 14, join us as we sit down with four fantastic women in a panel discussion on how they have been able to find balance in their mind and body. We'll not only speak about barriers they have to face in daily life, but the worst and most fearful critic - themselves.
Rather than your regular panel-style event, we will have a guided open conversation while hearing the stories of our selected speakers. We'll spend some time to understand what self care means to ourselves on an individual level, and together work on solutions on understanding what our boundaries are, how to say "no" and find that balance.
TICKET INFO: $25
Entry into the 2-hour long panel discussion, with complimentary snacks.
Included one feature cocktail - this will be a matcha espresso martini sponsored by Viritus Vodka. As an added optional activity, you can shake your own cocktail with Amanda Chen and sip on your amazing creation! (Limit 10 people per 15-minute session).
$10 from every ticket sale will be donated to the Barbara Schlifer Clinic. The Barbra Schlifer Clinic offers legal representation, professional counselling and multilingual interpretation to women who have experienced abuse.
Drinks + networking + talks by strong and ambitious women in the city to share their stories and work with you on fighting against your own negativity and finding inner strength to pursue your passions.
