About the President's Opening Reception and Main Day Event: The 6th Annual Salinas Valley Agricultural Technology Summit is hosted by the Agricultural Business and Technology Institute at Hartnell College in collaboration with the Monterey Bay Chapter of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers (CAPCA). The theme for this year's event is "Tomorrow's
Technology You Can Use Today."
The event attracts over 1,000+ attendees. Join premiere leaders in the Agriculture and Ag Technology fields of the Salinas and Silicon Valley as we kick off the Salinas Valley Ag Technology Summit. Enjoy our special President's Opening Reception with esteemed leaders over local wines and hors d'oeuvres. The next day, the Main Day event, discover the latest trends in Ag Technology through speaker and panel presentations on crop protection, the future of farming, automation, harvest technology, innovation, worker safety and regulations, access to exhibitor, demonstrations and more.
Morning keynote address will be given by Dr. Bob Whitaker, Chief Science and Technology Officer of Produce Marketing Assocation and afternoon keynote will be given by Glenda Humiston, VP of Agriculture and Natural Resources from the University of California. Presentations will include six education sessions and three unique tracks.

CAPCA Continuing Education (up to 5 hours of credit approved by attending this session(s) in their entirety.)
