About the Main Day Event: The 6th Annual Salinas Valley Agricultural Technology Summit is hosted by the Agricultural Business and Technology Institute at Hartnell College in collaboration with the Monterey Bay Chapter of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers (CAPCA). The theme for this year's event is "Tomorrow's Technology You Can Use Today." The event attracts over 1,000+ attendees. Join premiere leaders in the Agriculture and Ag Technology fields of the Salinas and Silicon Valley as we kick off the Salinas Valley Ag Technology Summit. Discover the latest trends in Ag Technology through speaker and panel presentations on crop protection, the future of farming, blockchain solutions, automation, big data, remote sensing harvest technology, innovation, food safety risk, an exhibitor showcase and more. Attendees will also enjoy breakfast and lunch.
Morning keynote address will be given by Dr. Bob Whitaker, Chief Science and Technology Officer of Produce Marketing Association and afternoon keynote will be given by Glenda Humiston, VP of Agriculture and Natural Resources from the University of California. Presentations will include six education sessions and three unique tracks.
