SA Writes: Move into Character
1859 Kingston Road
Move into Character combines theatre exercises and writing exercises to help participants develop strong characters. Participants will create a character based on traits and props provided by the class, then do writing exercises to deepen the character beyond superficial traits. With this deepened understanding, participants will move on to planning short stories or other writing pieces about the character they've created. By the end of this workshop each participant will have a new character they can use in future creative works, along with a list of potential stories they can write about said character.
