SA Kidz: All About Me
1859 Kingston Road
This cultural workshop is designed for children of all ages. Created to instil comfort in the skin we are in, children will use an array of materials (such as construction paper, yarn, paint etc.) to create a depiction of how they feel or identify on both racial and cultural levels. The purpose of this workshop is to allow children the freedom of expression when reflecting about themselves with no pressure, and no limit. In a socially and physically safe environment, children will be able to engage with one another and learn about each other’s culture. All materials will be provided, however children should feel free to bring inspirational items or materials that they are interested in incorporating into their masterpiece.
