Description
This workshop invites ESL learners who may be frustrated by language barriers to make a collage on the theme of “My Definition of Success” and talk about the meaning of their piece. The session’s goal is to bridge the non-verbal realm to inspire verbal expression, thus building the participants’ English fluency and morale.
No art background is required for participation in the workshop, which will involve gathering, arranging, and gluing down images and letters to a substrate. The facilitator, an experienced artist and ESL educator, will supply all necessary materials, including images, backings, glue, scissors, alphabet stickers, and other embellishments.
