Creating Repeat Patterns is a two-hour workshop that will introduce participants to the subject of surface pattern design for fine art, printing and textiles. Participants will learn about different types of pattern, and explore various uses for repeat pattern in art and design. Participants will also create and test a unique pattern design of their own. No art, design, printing or textile experience is necessary to participate in this introductory workshop. Materials will be provided.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Sarah Comfort is a Toronto-based artist with an MFA in Fibres from Concordia University.
