Everyone eats. Everyone has a relationship with what they eat. And we usually, hopefully, eat together. It is in that spirit of food and community these classes were born.
Kate Zaidan has the awesome opportunity to build relationships with people all over the city as she runs her father's Mediterranean foods store in Cincinnati's Findlay Market. What she saw as she worked, slinging spices and quizzing people on their recipes, is that food is instantly disarming. People were connecting at her counter, no matter where they came from. And that is what drove Kate to start these classes, a great love of people and food.
