Martin Majkut and the Queens Symphony Orchestra are thrilled to be part of the Queens Rising Celebration at Kupferberg Center in a free matinee program with Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 featuring pianist Tanya Gabrielian and Finlandia by Sibelius. Rounding out the program is the Andante Moderato by Florence Price, the first African American woman to have her music performed by a major American Orchestra. A stunning program as we celebrate the return to live performance.
Join the Queens Symphony Orchestra in a free matinee celebrating all that is Queens as part of the month-long celebration of arts and culture in the borough called QUEENS RISING.
