It is officially summer and the first frost seems far away, but even as we begin to enjoy the first ripe tomatoes, peppers, corn, and melons, it is time to start thinking about the next season.
This class will show how to prepare now and plant so your fall garden will provide a bounty of frost-tolerant, cool-weather crops ready to harvest for salads and greens in October, November, and maybe even up until Christmas.
Kathleen Plunkett-Black has been a seed saver and homestead subsistence gardener for over 30 years. She is a long-time member of the Seed Savers Exchange, and now grows seeds for over 200 varieties of vegetables.
